Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) has an active chapter in New Orleans; they are a support group providing resources to parents and LGBTQ individuals. They host meetings twice a month- once in Orleans Parish and once on the North Shore. You can find more information and resources on the PFLAG website.
