The Center’s new-inspired vision to create a greater New Orleans area where gender and sexual minorities are equitable and empowered challenged us to rethink our brand image.
Building the public’s trust requires both integrity and professionalism and that idea helped inform the Center’s new geometric logo. The new logo utilizes the colors of the rainbow, which represents our great pride and the importance of understanding our history, national and local. Instead of having each color appear separately, our new logo shows that some colors overlap. This perspective honors our historic brand but with a new perspective. Indeed, just like the colors in the logo many of us have intersecting identities that overlap and add dimension to our lives. With a new brand and vision the Center is ready to impact change and contribute to a more just world.
